How to select a good vacuum bottle

In cold winter, we choose vacuum flasks and thermos for hot water. They can keep water hot for 8-24 hours. How to choose a high quality vacuum flask or thermos? Here are 3 warm tips for your reference.

 
Firstly, test its performance by magnet. Prepare 2 vacuum flasks for test, one attracts magnet, the other does not. Pour hot water in more than 80 centigrade into them and screw tightly the lid. After 3 hours, you will find that the one attracting magnet keep water from 80 centigrade to 40 centigrade, while the other one still keep water over 70 centigrade. From the test, it shows us, vacuum flask attracting magnet is in poor performance of keeping hot water. 

Secondly, test its performance by boiling water. Filling the vacuum flask with boiling water and screw its lid. 2-3 minutes later, touch its surface and bottom to feel the temperature. If you we feel warm, then the flask is not so good for keeping hot water. Also we can test its leakproofness by filling water after inverting it and shaking it. If there is no water out, then the leakproofness is very good.

Thirdly, test its performance by eco-friendly accessories. It’s very important to use eco-friendly and harmless accessories for vacuum flask and thermos. We can judge the accessories eco-friendly or not from their smell. For accessories in food grade safety, it is almost scentless with polished surface and long service time compared with regular plastic materials.
